Men's Ministry

The very last prophecy that YHWH gave to OT Israel is found in Malachi 4:5-6:

“Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the great and awesome day of the Lord comes. And he will turn the hearts of fathers to their children and the hearts of children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the land with a decree of utter destruction.”

CLPC recognizes the great significance which the Lord has placed on the role of men in His covenant community. When sinful men repent and trust in Christ Jesus, God has promised to bless the land – one family at a time.
CLPC’s Men’s Ministry recognizes the urgency of challenging men and fathers to surrender their lives to Jesus, and live out their faith each day – in the homes, on their jobs, and in their communities.

In 2 Timothy 2:1-2, Paul writes: “You then, my child, be strengthened by the grace that is in Christ Jesus, and what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also.”

Therefore, CLPC’s Men’s Ministry is intentionally committed to the following:

a. Encourage every man to long to worship the Lord, together;

Encourage every man to know and live the Word of God, together;

» we will begin a monthly Men’s Fraternity in September 2019

Encourage every man to pray bold and dependent prayers, together;

Challenge men to seek to change the Bahamas, together – one community at a time.

» we volunteer at CW Sawyer Primary, Yellow Elder Primary, and AF Adderley Middle schools

» we plan to volunteer at both GHS, and other schools for “exceptional” young men.
